Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Cottagers
To be honest it didn't look like much on Willock, kinda felt more like he just wanted off the pitch, he'd had a stinker. Murphy and Longstaff shocking as always, guaranteed at least one of them plays the 90 though.
Getting to the point where I'm not even that pissed off at the performances because there is just an expectation now that we will be second best no matter the opposition. We look clueless and if Howe does stay then I honestly don't know where we go next season. I could easily see us having a bottom half finish.
I worry that if we do sell Bruno or Isak this summer that the money won't be spent wisely, no DoF means Howe gets free reign to waste vital funds on a failing team/system.

I think Murphy's just been anonymous but Longstaff needs moving on, nowhere near good enough should be a squad player at best. Kraft has been woeful not surprised if he gets hacked off as he's a red card waiting to happen. Put Murphy RB and get Barnes on to give us more quality on the right. Hope Willock's injury not too bad but Gordon's been our best player our only bright spark.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 3:02 pmTo be honest it didn't look like much on Willock, kinda felt more like he just wanted off the pitch, he'd had a stinker. Murphy and Longstaff play like they are guaranteed starters, maybe that's because they are guaranteed starters.

Noice!
If we could get a jammy win against the run of play just once this season it would be great, cheers
