That horrific attempt at a knee slide from Bruno deserved to go to VAR more than the last one. f*** me

I swear I'm seeing Newcastle fans sat in the Fulham end jumping up and cheering

3 points are 3 points but f*** me that wasn't an enjoyable watch
Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Cottagers
Grinding performance. But a win is a win. We improved in the second half and Barnes changed the dynamic of the game again. Awesome. We still 8th though after West Ham won but we have a game in hand on them so Europe is looking likely if we can win our ''winnable'' games on paper (Crystal Palace, Shefield United, Burnley, Brentford).. get a win/draw against Spurs/Brighton at home and the Man United game away only game I see us losing. Positive mindset.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 4:11 pm3 points are 3 points but **** me that wasn't an enjoyable watch
Hope Willock's injury not too bad as we need him for the run-in. Next game with Spurs speeding & technical attackers we should look to play Murphy RB and start Barnes RW. Kraft was very shaky today and get Anderson in from the start he looked quality today he's physically strong but at the same time has the technical ability to match looks like a player. Him n' Miley are our future in midfield if they fulfil there potential. Also lovely to see Bruno scoring, what a player! Shame we couldn't beat Everton as we would have been in the lofty position of 6th right now, hope that draw don't come back to bite us.

I just saw the FT score so can pretend we dominated and deserved to win…
Seriously tho, this team can easily be challenging for top 5 if most (not even all) of our injuries aren’t as bad next year!

Not exactly a vintage performance but we got the points which is all that matters. Need to be doing that more often

Pleasing !
Take it and roll in
Seven points out of nine is an acceptable return from these three fixtures.
For a squad that is right under the pump it’s credit to all involved in keeping us ticking over

I’d say that’s an excellent return tbf. If I was offered that before the West Ham game I’d have 100% been happy to take that.seaside nipper wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 5:50 pmPleasing !
