I never thought for one second that we’d catch up and be able to go for 4th, but the Villa win today absolutely cements that we are not (not that it was ever going to happen anyway ).

I've been doing some rough numbers in my head and 6th will be the best we can get.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 6:55 pmI never thought for one second that we’d catch up and be able to go for 4th, but the Villa win today absolutely cements that we are not (not that it was ever going to happen anyway ).
Spurs have a very tough run in but will beat us by a point for 5th. Unless they go all Spursy.

Yeah, I think we can get p6 looking at the run in.overseasTOON wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:00 amI've been doing some rough numbers in my head and 6th will be the best we can get.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 6:55 pmI never thought for one second that we’d catch up and be able to go for 4th, but the Villa win today absolutely cements that we are not (not that it was ever going to happen anyway ).

I can see Man U getting 10 more points from Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Palace, Arsenal, us and Brighton).
I can see us getting 12 points from:
Palace (a): 1 point
Sheffield Utd (h): 3 points
Burnley (a): 3 points
Brighton (h): 3 points
Man U (a): 1 point
Brentford (a): 1 point.
So long as we don’t lose away to Man U on the penultimate game we should get 6th.
I’ve been quite conservative as palace or Brentford could be a win.

Can't see us staying unbeaten for the rest of the season.
This season has been so unpredictable as well I can see us beating Palace and then losing to Sheffield Utd.

I’ve put palace and Brentford as draws but not unlikely we win one and lose one so actually get 3 points which is better than drawing both.originallad wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 10:52 amCan't see us staying unbeaten for the rest of the season.

By the time we play Brentford they’ll be safe and on the beach and we’ll (in theory) still be playing for top 6.

Let’s all support Forest on Sunday! Everton lost three defenders to injury as well.

With no disrespect meant to Bournemouth but even without their points deduction Everton would still be 7 points behind them.

No doubt this fixture will be billed as the "Points Deduction" derby.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 9:01 pmLet’s all support Forest on Sunday! Everton lost three defenders to injury as well.
