Seems like it would be a massive project, not from the area so don't know the ins and outs of Leazes park and why it can't be on there. Is it possible it moves onto that land and then the park gets extended onto where the ground is now?

Re: Football Titbits
I'd imagine between its history, lease holds, Grade 2 heritage designation, and millions of pounds of past grant funding for heritage restorations - there isn't a realistic scenario in which the city could reasonably sell or lease the park to the club to permanently expand the stadium into the park.Don Sholeone wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 1:45 pmSeems like it would be a massive project, not from the area so don't know the ins and outs of Leazes park and why it can't be on there.
