Cisse played very well today, but I can see why he had over two times the amounts of offside's than any other player in the Bundesliga <laugh>

Krul - 8 - Made so very important, brilliant saves in the first half

Simpson - 6 - Did OK, not great mind
Williamson - 5 - Don't understand all of the 7's? Colo covered for him so many times, and Bent won headers off him. Also - hooooof!! Then Villa won possession again
Coloccini - 8 - Had to cover for all of our defenders today - was outstanding again
Santon - 5 - Got caught out too many times for me. Good going forward though

Raylor - 6 - Did good before he went off
Perch - 7 - Went about his job in a good, solid way. Beginning to like the lad
Guthrie - 8 - Very good performance - having a good time atm
Jonas - 8 - Very, very good. Covered for Santon on a number of occasions and did great going forward

Ba - 7 - Good goal, looked tired, but definetly deserved the 7
Best - 6 - Went off early

SUBS
Cisse - 7 - Amazing goal, some good bits of play
Obertan - 7 - Did well when introduced - seems to thrive when criticized
Ameobi - 5 - Came on for a few minutes and gave it away every time he got it

List of players as options and sliders (0 to 10) for each? Would make these player ratings threads brilliant!
Great Idea <ok>
Don't argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.

I really wish Ben Arfa could play a part. Hope he does vs Spurs because I don't want to see him being left out over Shola.

Todays game just wasn't right for him, we could of lost if he played he loses the ball too much.

True but this isn't the first time it's happened. He must be really unhappy at the moment, he will be needed vs Spurs for sure.

Krul - 9 - Made some vital saves and commanded his area will at corners and crosses.
Simpson - 7 - His positioning is sometimes off, but he works hard for the team.
Coloccini - 8 - Great at tackling and always times them perfectly, kept Bent at bay for most of the match.
Williamson - 7 - Made some good tackles when we were in trouble, good at winning headers.
Santon - 7 - Kept their right side at bay, and got forward when possible.
Raylor - 6 - Didnt have much time to make an impact, but put his body on the line for the first goal.
Guthrie - 9 - Absolutely ran the game for us, bossed the midfield completely, cool and calm in possession and played some unreal crosses.
Perch - 8 - Surprised me today, played the Tiote role very well and broke up many of their attacks, few missed place passes.
Gutierrez - 8 - Worked tirelessly all game, won free kicks in valuable places and provided a decent assist for Cissé.
Ba - 8 - Seemed a little tired but played his socks off and deserved his goal, few iffy moments but overall played well.
Best - NA - Unlucky to have got injured so early in the game.

Cissé - 8 - Seemed to misplace a few passes and have a poor first touch early on, but eased into the game and formed a good understanding with Ba, goal was top drawer.
Obertan - 7 - Worked hard to track back and had some positive forward runs, just needs to sort his final ball out, and his shooting.
Shola - NA - Did good to keep possession when we needed it.
It's not about money... It's about sending a message.
