London is cool to visit for a couple of days, I'd hate to live there tho.

Probably out of Gateshead's hands. They are currently charging £14 for home games , but I recall going to Wembley to see Whitley Bay, it's not the fact they are non-league ; you are supporting and helping the club by going.
Paying £40 to watch Newcastle's 2014 form . Now that is a f***ing joke!!! :(

According to the Cambridge United (who also charge about £10 to watch a game) website the prices were set by the Conference

Also as far as I'm aware Gateshead have absolutely no real control over ticket prices, the minimum they can sell for is £14. They can offer discount but it's a bit of a joke really.

People from (county) Durham are very insular. The miner's gala is the only* time they leave the village <roll>

Its too big. Too many people. I enjoy visiting it (apart from everything being ridiculously over priced) but I'd hate to live there. Shame all the football grounds tend to be in s*** holes.

Got back from Wembley a couple of hours ago, gutted <cry>

Brilliant experience though, both sets of fans were excellent made more noise than any game I've ever been to despite there 'only' being 20,000 there, never felt a stadium vibrate like it did when our goal went in and everyone was jumping, really thought we'd do it <neg>.

Wembley is an amazing stadium, enjoyed the little peeks of London I got would definitely do it all again and I'll be getting to a lot more games next season.

Its design helps create a great atmosphere but it rarely gets those kind of football games with the normal games being England internationals. The Champions League finals in 2011 and 2013 showed how great it can sound when both sets of fans are going wild.

Also London is a cool place to visit. Way too many northerners on this board :bandit: <ski>
