That's horrible. Begs the question why someone so terrible and destructive as a football club owner wants the job.
Apparently it's for the academy, Gateshead's is very good and graded highly for the level and you get big grants to run it.

Nigel Harrop, who has just been put on the board of directors by Cala did something similar at Ilkeston, strip back costs, play the U 19s in the league, sell them on and then rake in the grant money. Ilkeston went into liquidation.

Gateshead have no other assets so it's wither the above going on or something criminal.

Spennymoor town one win away from the national league. Would be a great achievement if they get promoted.

A fake Facebook profile page has been set up to discredit the go fund me page.

It has likely been set up by the regime in charge of the 'original' GFC. f***ing despicable bastards.

What might have been... let’s hope the new club can move up quickly, in a financially sustainable way.

Supporter led takeover has been completed.

Lots of hard work to be done but I didn't think we'd even get this far.

Great news, will you still be playing at the international stadium?

That will be the aim. Hopefully the council give it all a quick go ahead.

I can't see the Council putting a spanner in the works but you never know. Will you be looking at your own ground in the future or is it too early to say?

The new ground thing has rumbled on for a decade, I'd 100% want it to happen but it's all about money, the council not wanting to lose their main tenants at the GIS and suitable grounds.

It would be a good thing for the club as that stadium is f***ing awful for football but hey the main thing is the Heed live on <diva>

Things just might be looking up but i'm sure Heed fans will be cautious for now.

You'd like to think common sense would prevail but it's up to The National League and FA <erk>

Heed demoted to National League North. Same league as Blyth Spenny York and Darlo. Cant say I'm not disappointed but we are staying full time and will be competitive .

Iron Mike fave to be new manager <awe>
