Wolves fans' opinion on the weekend match?

Post by beatski » Fri Feb 24, 2012 5:58 pm

anyone have any idea of what they're thinking? had a quick look on not606's wolves page, but it's all manager chat (somewhat expectedly). Its always nice to get the opposition's opinion before a match, but i'm too lazy to have a trawl through t'internet (since i'm suppoed to be doing some work)

I'd guess they're none too optomistic of getting a result at this point (or staying up for that matter).

I'm that guy.

Barcode Amy 3 Wolves 1.

Can't see us getting anything up there against a bloody good side with Wolves currently experiencing so much uncertainty off the pitch.
Newcastle 6 Wolves 1

TC to do a Stuart Gray and make no attempt to play it different after the manager is sacked and instead remain loyal to the man and go with what he would have done.
We're going to get destroyed. I reckon at least a two goal margin, if not more. 3-0 to Newcastle.
I'm too scared to think about it. Cisse and Ba up front? get the goal nailed up with a load of floorboards quick.
Roger Johnson will bw wearing someone else shorts , inside out by the time this is over
Tiote being back is the real killer .. he's world class and effortlessly stems most goal threats .. hopefully's he's off form after the ACN .. still holding out hope for a shock result .. 1-2 .. COTW !!!
i think we'll lose 3-1 tbh... ba is on fire, and hes forming a great partnership with cisse.. their defence is shaky though, i can see fletcher getting one back for us... if we get lucky i can see the game going 2-2 but its unlikely

Also, courtesy of the Wolves forum there is this statistic..

"The last time Wolves won a top-flight match away to Newcastle was on 7 February 1959 - the day former manager Mick McCarthy was born"

"He's on the computer in his underwear wasting time in some chitchat room, going back & forth with some other fuckin' jerkoff"

I love how they start by being insanely pessimistic then by the end think they could win.

This relentless optimism... I am unsure whether to go with it or question it.

(Fulham springs to mind)

I think we'll win, but like at Molineux I think it will be a close-run thing. Certainly I see us conceding from a set-piece. 2-1, both thanks to Cisse, Fletcher getting one back for them near the end.

I think a shaky 1-0 win like QPR and Wigan, Cisse netting

Here's a quality statistic ...

"The last time Wolves won a top-flight match away to Newcastle was on 7 February 1959 - the day former manager Mick McCarthy was born"

the moons are aligning for a TC win ..
<laugh>

If that's true, f*** me.

That Roger Johnson quote is brilliant!

I am very optimistic, just because Tiote is back and I can see him playing a blinder tomorrow.

When we've been able to play all our key players, only Man City and Liverpool have beaten us this season (and even then, we were missing Tiote and Saylor respectively).

It doesn't help Wolves that Terry Conner has lost his voice to.
I think that Cabaye and Tiote will be fired up after missing a few games for us. I'd be happy with a 2-1 win.

We've only lost once when Cabaye and Tiote have played, which says A LOT!

I think we'll have a solid win. 3-0
