What formation will we play next season?

With our current crop of players, coupled with another cm (arguably our strongest position), I'm unsure of what we'll be playing next season (arbitrary as it may be). We've all complained about the lack of wingers in our squad, but what if we're going to play a narrow attacking mid? (With full backs over lapping: we know how good janmaat is at that after all, just need someone on the opposite side). I'm clueless on what next season will be on a lot of fronts, but depending on what Schteve wants to play next season, it might change fans opinions on where we need to sign players next season? Opinions?

A narrow diamond would be pretty interesting given the players we have, probably much harder to get right than just a bog standard 4-2-3-1 though.

We need players for the left hand side of the pitch regardless of which formation we decide to play.

I would quite happily get rid of Sissoko for a quality Left Winger, now we're strong enough in midfield I'd sell him for anything upwards of about £7m.

Would not be a bad starting XI really. I agree that we need a proper out and out left winger. We have a few players that can play there, but none that I am all that comfortable with really. I put Aarons in because he's the only one that really suits that position proper. Maybe a rejuvenated Marveaux. We could do with a new left back as well really. Which is a shame for Haidara, since he's not exactly done anything wrong. Personally I just don't think he's quite that good. Dummett isn't a left back either, his future has to be in the centre.

Saw in another thread about Enrique being left out of Liverpool's pre season squad. Would anyone else have him back?

Nah, don't think so. I wouldn't complain but I think we should look to bring in someone for the long-term (i.e. 4/5 years).
