Fantasy Football 2015-16

Post by Alfie » Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:19 am

Just been on the website & we can start picking teams for the new season!!!

<ohnoes> <ohnoes> <ohnoes>

I'm aiming to beat my record of 27 drafts before settling on poor team that get me no points.

Had to create a new H2H league though.

Looks like there's also a new game on there, £5 a go with the chance to win £25k I think.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Looks like there's been some changes to gameplay.

By the looks of it there is now the option to play 2-5-3, triple captain points & include the points from your bench players. You can use one per week & can be used once per season.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Doing a second draft now.

Any good names knocking about this year? I've gone with Janmaat-e-Islami.

Putting Rooney in if papers are believed that ManU aren't buying another striker. Wijnaldum seems over priced at £7M

Think that's because of his goals last season.

Aarons is only 5m, I'm definitely chucking him in my team until he gets injured in the 15th minute against Southampton.

I want soutzoukakia smyrneika too wrote:Doing a second draft now.

I really wanted 'Mbemba Mbemba the 5th of November' but it's too long. I tend to get my names when the commentator says a player's name on FIFA. Others that have come up this year are 'Sigurdsson Alcohol', 'Sakho Potatoes', 'Mané Feel Like a Woman', 'Puncheon Judy' and 'Who Ate All Depays'. Perhaps some of them are a bit obvious, I don't know, but my friends always accuse me of googling them. I think that's become a bit of a running joke now but I always take the bait.

Anyone got any good ones? Ideally for Newcastle players.

De Jong and Winding Road would be another goodun if it was short enough.

I think my favourite name of seasons past has been Albus Dumblescore.

I had Clyne but have taken him out, most his points last season came from clean sheets and Liverpool are more likely to ship goals IMO.

Personally I go for a solid back 3 with 2 cheap sub players for defence, to free up funds.

Think Rodriguez is a risk with him being out a whole year, and Rooney is always an iffy buy for fantasy IMO.

Rodriguez has played well from what I've seen in pre-season.(Got 5 goals in 3 preseason games) ManU haven't got many other attacking options as of yet so I fancy him to be their main goalscorer this season. You could be right on Clyne. Only my third draft, plenty of time yet <cheers>
