It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Get him to a Championship club in January

I'm off to watch Coventry play Southend on the 31st, he better still be in that sort of form

All my mates have been saying how lucky they are to have him, say his movement, attitude and all round play is far too good for League 1!!Amnesiac wrote:I'm off to watch Coventry play Southend on the 31st, he better still be in that sort of form
The 'sburg dynasty is over 3 seasons, 3 division 1 titles.

Can't wait for us to ruin him
Sammy was an unused sub last night - they've realised that he's s*** in a handful of minutes

Same here, my mate last night said he'll be playing championship football for the second half of the season because he'll easily hit 20 in league one at the moment!!KingoStarr wrote:All my mates have been saying how lucky they are to have him, say his movement, attitude and all round play is far too good for League 1!!Amnesiac wrote:I'm off to watch Coventry play Southend on the 31st, he better still be in that sort of form

Cabella played 76 minutes for Marseille in a 6-0 win and got an assist.

Strange that he's been injured all summer then can suddenly play 76 minutes after like one training session.Bodacious Benny wrote:Cabella played 76 minutes for Marseille in a 6-0 win and got an assist.

Indeed. The warm French climate must have miraculously cleared up his injuryOver The Line wrote:Strange that he's been injured all summer then can suddenly play 76 minutes after like one training session.Bodacious Benny wrote:Cabella played 76 minutes for Marseille in a 6-0 win and got an assist.

In fairness he was back in training a little while before he left.
Re: Loanees 2015/2016
Shane Ferguson is a strange one, spent 2 and a half years getting Premier League appearances and looking half decent. Struggled in the Championship for a year and a half and now he's down in League One.

Re: Loanees 2015/2016
I suppose the lack in player development that should come with age can be a reason for that.

Re: Loanees 2015/2016
Went to watch Arma against Southend last night, he didn't have the greatest game to be honest but all the signs were there. He was isolated for the first half, playing up front on his own and was easily marked out of the game, but he still had flashes where something happened. He works really hard as well, I think Southend had a gameplan for him because he kept coming deep despite coventry having large parts of possession. One thing I really liked though was even when he had the ball, his head was always up, looking for a pass, he never seems to hurry himself but at the same time it doesn't slow down play like Cabella did. He also has a bit of strength about him too, holding off one of their defenders early on. Apart from him making some really intelligent runs that weren't picked up I can't remember much else, apart from him not having a shot in the box to memory.

Your forgetting that it is League One... don't take this away from the lad because hes having a great start but can he bring this to the Prem? only time will tell.Bodacious Benny wrote:Coventry is a good move for Armstrong. They're a big club in League One and having a loan until Christmas is far better than the pointless one month loans.

Is he forgetting this? I think he's just saying it's a good move for him, regardless of whether he'll eventually make it in the PLAlan Partjew wrote:Your forgetting that it is League One... don't take this away from the lad because hes having a great start but can he bring this to the Prem? only time will tell.Bodacious Benny wrote:Coventry is a good move for Armstrong.
