Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
I got lucky, I had the home kit that season which I outgrew (the season afters still fits!), but one of my mates won the phone in game at the end of the season on Soccer AM and won all the kits they'd had on the walls. He flogged most of them off on eBay a few years ago including that one (having assumed I already had it), but brilliantly spelled Newcastle wrong (Newvastle) so I got it for less than I'd have given him anyway since no one could search it...

Whilst I agree the new Coventry kit is pretty awful, why a kit made by Nike would make you hate Puma is beyond meBarrsky85 wrote:Just seen the Kilmarnock, Coventry and Birmingham strips and it's making me hate Puma all over again
The 'sburg dynasty is over 3 seasons, 3 division 1 titles.

He was a good player!? Low expectations lads, he maybe had a couple decent seasons at Deportivo but didn't make any mark on football whats so ever haha

Shola is our Legend, scored important goals vs Makems etc, played in our Champions League team, been around forever, Luque just came over here scored one goal and scored in Shearer's testimonial (possibly wrong) and left, he was not a good player, he was just, a player.

Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
Luque was a good player when we signed him, was playing in a good Depor side in the Champions League and for the Spain squad on the rise. Unfortunately he got a really bad hamstring injury very early on for us and sadly it killed his career.
Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
He scored against the Mackems, pretty sure he scored in a 1-0 win over Palermo(Kruls debut?) and scored a great goal in Shearers testimonial.Barrsky85 wrote:Shola is our Legend, scored important goals vs Makems etc, played in our Champions League team, been around forever, Luque just came over here scored one goal and scored in Shearer's testimonial (possibly wrong) and left, he was not a good player, he was just, a player.
And this:
He looked good on his debut against Man United but then ruined his hamstring in the next game. Really struggled after that. Never even got another Spain cap.Colly wrote:Luque was a good player when we signed him, was playing in a good Depor side in the Champions League and for the Spain squad on the rise. Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
The only confusion here is people's own meaning for the word "good". Doesn't really matter, open a new thread to discuss the career of Luque if you want haha.
On the topic at hand...
Why would Nufc not officially release the kit if there has been leaks etc, not even a pic in a wee Mongolian shop, I was thinking that they were waiting for the re branding of the EFL but surely that wouldn't really matter at this stage!?
