16/17 Kit Thread
16/17 Kit Thread
In an attempt to distract everyone from the looming relegation I thought we could share some of next seasons leaked kits.
This Arsenal image has been doing the rounds for a while now:
Chelsea and Man Utd both using the same template as those used by Germany, Spain etc in the Euros:
Real Madrid:
Barcelona:

Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
They're all looking rather 'bland' at the moment and that includes the new international kits.
Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
Agreed, Arsenals especially. I know your limited by a teams colours but it doesn't look like they've even tried to do anything there!
I can't wait until ours is leaked, tacky with a blank back.

Arsenal one looks awfully cheap. Puma should be banned from making kits, that company are a disgrace.
Chelsea and Barca ones look nice though.

Chelsea and Barca's look nice, if not a bit boring. The new international kits are hideous though.

Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
With the exception of the Chelsea kit - the Adidas kits have had a fuckin' mare. All look s****. I reckon Arsenal's looks nice, as does Barca's.
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
I'm past the age where I'd waste £45/£50 on a new football shirt. I'll get ones from a year or two ago for about a tenner if I want one.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
The Chelsea and second Barca kits are using the same photoshop mock-up kit templates. Different manufacturers shouldn't look exactly the same (see the shoulders).

And the two-tone red stripes start and end on dark red on the photo but starts and end on light red on the photoshop.Cal wrote:The Chelsea and second Barca kits are using the same photoshop mock-up kit templates. Different manufacturers shouldn't look exactly the same (see the shoulders).
Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
The same manufacturers shouldn't look the same. Considering the amount they charge, the volume they sell and the advertising they get they should be able to produce custom designs for each team. At least for home kits.Cal wrote:The Chelsea and second Barca kits are using the same photoshop mock-up kit templates. Different manufacturers shouldn't look exactly the same (see the shoulders).

Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
The last time I like our kit was the season when we finished fifth. Just sayin. So Puma better do some good kit who I would approve, to have at least some chance for promotion next season.

Not next season but only recently announced for the new MLS season.
Don't know why but I absolutely love Montreal Impact's kit

Re: 16/17 Kit Thread
I'm sure I read somewhere that puma were wanting to go back to a more traditional Newcastle kit next season with a greater number of stripes and no blue features taking over...sadly whatever they come up with will still have the wonga logo plastered over the front and will have a big block on the back (either black or white) instead of full stripes....god I miss the Adidas kits with Newcastle brown on them! Surely Ashley must realise that the club sold FAR more replica kits back in the pre-wonga days than they do now? Not that the designs are within his jurisdiction or anything but wonga is a god awful shirt sponsor!
Anyway I won't be bothering with it regardless of what it looks like...got my eye on a proper Adidas replica of the 96 maroon and blue hooped away kit instead. They don't make em like they used to....Christ I'm old!

Hmm. Gold for champions?
Joe Kinnear: "I think they've got some magnificent midfield players; Tiote, Ben Afri, Yohan Kebab, Sissoko are very solid."
