Croatia are probably the only team who've been consistently brilliant in all areas of the pitch throughout the tournament so far. I can see them winning the whole thing.

I wouldn't go that far. They are currently playing one of the worst teams in the competition right now.

Lost count of how many teams have looked good in the group stage but when it gets to the knock-outs they fail to do it (for one reason or another).

Great finish from Rakitic.

Rakitic and Modric are as good a CM pairing as any in this tournament.

They're the only team I backed to win it. Got 25/1 before the tournament started, only have £5 each way on them though.
I dunno

Rakitic, Modric, Perisic, Kovacic and Brozovic is the best midfield in the tournament IMO.
I dunno

Hats off to the French and their ultra tight security.

That was a brilliant game. Croatia completely dominant then just collapsed.

Idiocy from the fans. Supposedly far right supporters protesting against their own FA. Once again a complete failure in security and safety from the French. They're supposed to be on high terror alert. For now it's thankfully just been idiotic fans but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a terrorist attack giving the severe incompetence of the French authorities.

Aye I backed them a 25/1 as well before the tournament. I also backed Wales at 80/1 and Northern Ireland at 300/1.

Don't really think Wales will win it. Just had a bet just in case becuase of this forum sweepstake. Northern Ireland were my gut feeling before the tournament. They had a slow start against Poland but were brilliant against Ukraine the other night. I fancy them to upset the Germans who've been poor so far though. They're growing into the tournament, which is arguably better than starting too strongly any way as you don't want to peak too early, so that bet could still be on. Croatia were my safety bet just in case Northern Ireland don't come through.

Is it just me who can't stop giggling everytime the McDolands ad showing "player escorts" appears behind De Gea?
