I wonder how far down Newcastle have to go before they can no longer afford to stay at SJP :/

Christ, I knew it wouldn't be as easy as people seemed to think but I at least thought we'd give it a f***ing go.

Getting a bit ahead of ourselves!
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Can buy 10 proven strikers, none of them will be able to score if we don't have any creativity.HowayTheLads wrote:Like a proven striker? But hey, what do I know?Juliet Papa Golf wrote:Methinks we need some more signings.

Damn, did I really hurry home from dinner for this BS? Not even a stream available...

It's going to take more than a game and a half for Rafa to get it sorted man. Give it some time, there's still 44 f***ing games left

I'm so sick of being hopeful and that being let down every time
Come on Rafa. Work some magic.

true. but as the commentators pointed out most of the time teams that get promoted loose no more than 5 games. weve already lost 2

Yeah, if only we had a few games to prepare for this season would have helpedHeisen wrote:It's going to take more than a game and a half for Rafa to get it sorted man. Give it some time, there's still 44 f***ing games left

Ritchie on for Rolando, we need two wingers on
Re: Preview: Newcastle Utd vs Huddersfield - 13/08/16
Yeah wouldn't be bad idea. Just think we need some more options in attack. We've got Anita on the wing and playing with very little creativity.HowayTheLads wrote:Like a proven striker? But hey, what do I know?Juliet Papa Golf wrote:Methinks we need some more signings.
Not trying to write the boy off but I don't think Aarons is going to be the player we all hope he will be.

But the mentality of the players... not even one of them tells me they can dig themselves out of a hole when they are burried. If they had a nice start the season might be fluid, but I'm affraid they will only dig deeper as games go by...Heisen wrote:It's going to take more than a game and a half for Rafa to get it sorted man. I think everyone is thinking about our last season in the championship we stormed it. This year is, from what we've seen so far, obviously going to be different, but everyone (media, this forum - myself included) is going to jump on the bandwagon when compared to that unfortunately. If we are going to get automatic promotion then it's going to be a massive scrap!Heisen wrote:It's going to take more than a game and a half for Rafa to get it sorted man. I've felt the urgent need of a playmaker for so long now... I was hoping Shelvey could be one, but he is not, one or two occasional 50 meter pass but other than that he is not what we need. We need a locksmith!Juliet Papa Golf wrote:Yeah wouldn't be bad idea. Just think we need some more options in attack. That doesn't really wash with me. Loads of teams go up/down leagues and make multiple changes and start off just fine. Look at what Hughton did in his Championship season.Heisen wrote:It's going to take more than a game and a half for Rafa to get it sorted man. Give it some time, there's still 44 f***ing games left
It's not just the results. It's the performances. We're almost playing worse now in the Championship as we were towards the last few games of last season in the Premier League.
We said the same thing about McClaren coming in as well. "It'll take him time to sort it out, be patient" etc. I just feel like we've seen this all before.
Happy to see how the next few games pan out though. I'll chalk this down to adaptation and working out the system but I can't say I'm doing that confidently.
