Could have said the same about Rafa.

I agree it is unlikely but come January we're going to be starting to build a side to finish top half in the Premier League last season. Dropping down a level for half a season may not be that unattractive to players as we have the pull of Rafa and the promise of building something special for next season and beyond.

There is a special buzz about the place, not been like this since Sir Bobbys days. Rafa is making us into a very attractive club to play for once again.

In seriousness, we will be able to attract decent players with Rafa if we get promoted. The likes of Oxlaide-Chamberlin are coming towards the end of their contracts and players we could look at. He's a bit hit and miss at Arsenal but regular games and the guidance of Rafa could see him come on leaps and bounds.

I hope Rafa will take someone from Real Madrid at some point in the PL. Would be good for the profile of our club. Florentino Perez obviously is a fan of Rafa's, so if they don't need of a player who Rafa admires, would be awesome.

I don't disagree that some good players could be convinced to get on board with the project feeling confident we'll be promoted back to the PL for next season, but I don't see (sufficient) benefit a player on loan would get from that experience if they're not even going to be playing with that team in the PL next season anyway.

I think some of you are going to be disappointed in the summer if Fabregas, Oxlaide-Chamberlain and some Real Madrid players are the expectation.
