EFL Cup Semi-finals
EFL Cup Semi-finals
Hull can only name 6 subs and are playing Meyler and Huddlestone as their two CBs. How they're only 3 points from safety and in a semi final is beyond me.

Seems a bit "look at us we have no players that's why we're doing so s***" from the club. Why not name a youth player on the bench?TBC wrote:Hull can only name 6 subs and are playing Meyler and Huddlestone as their two CBs. How they're only 3 points from safety and in a semi final is beyond me.
I dunno

And we used to think Ashley was bad, he's got nothing on the morons at Hull.

It really should be us playing tonight. We f***ing battered Hull for a good 60 minutes
I dunno
Re: EFL Cup Semi-finals
In our current form we could do without getting dominated by a superior team for 90 mins. Plus you just know Rooney would've gotten that goal had they been playing us.Duke wrote:It really should be us playing tonight. We f***ing battered Hull for a good 60 minutes

2 - 0 really isn't a bad result for them given the circumstances.

That may be true, but we'd probably be best off not caring about what we have to hear from idiot Sunderland fans (or the media for that matter)Bodacious Benny wrote:Yep definitely and we'd never hear the end of itTBC wrote:

Yeah, great man management isn't it. Send a message to your development squad that you would rather have an empty space on the bench rather than use any of them. I'm sure that fills them with optimism for their futures.Duke wrote:Seems a bit "look at us we have no players that's why we're doing so s***" from the club. Can't help thinking Soton are going to regret these missed chances.
Re: EFL Cup Semi-finals
Absolutely, not an exaggeration to say they should have won that by 4 or 5. They'll get beat at Anfield.Donkey Toon wrote:Can't help thinking Soton are going to regret these missed chances.

Still fancy Liverpool to get through. At least a Liverpool v Man U final would add a bit of spice to it.

A young lad down near me signed for them a couple of years ago. Played a few times pre season but hasn't had a look in since. Pathetic management not putting a kid on the bench.Donkey Toon wrote:Yeah, great man management isn't it. Indeed. Even if you don't think the player is quite ready and you have no intention of putting him on the pitch, the kid would still learn from the experience and in all probability show a boost in his efforts in training and to improve himself. Incomprehensible decision.ALF wrote:A young lad down near me signed for them a couple of years ago. Played a few times pre season but hasn't had a look in since. Re: EFL Cup Semi-finals
Fully expect the scousers to win tonight which, even though a Man Utd-Liverpool final does sound better, is a shame as Southampton were so much better in the first leg.
