Yeah, but that was only in front of 120 people. In front of 433.3 recurring times that you can expect 433.3 recurring times more goals. So still a 3-0 loss. Ho hum.

Never really sure what to take from reserve results seeing as we send out most promising players out on loan, while other clubs seem to use the loan system less. Not to say I don't want them to do better, but it's not always representative of a club's best prospects.

Didn't Heardman have a relatively good loan spell somewhere? Can't remember if it was this season or last

No, to put it bluntly.

Had loans at Gateshead 3 years ago(1 start, 2 sub, 0 goals), Hartlerpool from Aug to Jan last year(1 start, 2 sub, 0 goals) and this season his year long loan at Bury was terminated without him making an appearance. He's 22 years old, no chance of him making it here.

Oh, I was sure I saw his name spring up on soccer Saturday as a goalscorer but obviously not!
