That was so stressful

What a result!! Such a relief. Diame and Saivet did pretty amazingly, one pass aside...

We were defending a one goal lead against a hoof-ball team, what the hell were you expecting?Hjl wrote:God we look bad
Great f***ing win. We played really well and dealt with what they threw at us. Yedlin and Ritchie were amazing down the right. Atsu was brilliant. Saivet and Diame weren't as bad as people will make out. Gayle is by far and away the best all-round striker at the club, but should have scored. Manquillo actually played well for a change. Lascelles with a dead leg still outjumping a fresh Andy Carroll in the 93rd minute and you've people yapping about him talking in the tunnel before the game? Nah. The match was the epitome of a s*** squad being managed to play above their worth. We looked so good going forward. And let's not pretend West Ham haven't been on a great f***ing run lately. That's a massive 3 points.
Don't hinder the Trinder

I wouldn't want them to start together again.Speedo wrote:What a result!! Such a relief. Diame and Saivet did pretty amazingly, one pass aside...

I mean, no. But when I saw the team I had mentally prepared myself for getting humped. They massively over performed. I'm sure they couldn't repeat it though. I wouldn't mind seeing Saivet again, having said that.beardface wrote:I wouldn't want them to start together again.Speedo wrote:What a result!! Such a relief. Diame was poor aside from the goal which he nearly missed, thats how we should be playing every week, on the front foot and getting our wingers and full backs involved. Great win.
Ritchie has to be up there with the worst players today, never looks up to see any teammates, just hoofs it back to the opposition and invited so much unnecessary pressure back onto us

I didn;t see the match but it really sounds like a big man/little man with Gayle and someone not Spanish with a name starting with J would be excellent. Did Saivet do enough to maybe replace the likes of Hayden or is it far too early days? He made a big mistake but then will have more rust than the hinges of a farm gate.
Diame sounds like he's still a donkey though, sort of a slow sissoko.

I'd be fine with Saivet getting a few more minutes. I missed the first 10 minutes of the game so I only saw positive things from himSpeedo wrote:I mean, no. I'd say they're at a similar level because I've been disappointed with Hayden so far this season.ColbacksFlamingBarnet wrote:I didn;t see the match but it really sounds like a big man/little man with Gayle and someone not Spanish with a name starting with J would be excellent.
