Match thread - Leceister v NUFC
Leicester City (a)
The Magpies return to action this afternoon with a 3pm kick-off at the King Power Stadium - only our fourth away game of the season in that traditional slot.
United's entire 3,200 ticket allocation has been sold.
We've managed to score here just once in our five visits - a late equaliser by Darren Ambrose way back in 2003.
And since Gabriel Obertan's effort ensured a 1-0 home win against City in 2014, we've lost all five meetings.
NUFC: Mo Diame is OK to continue and Joselu in contention to play, while Islam Slimani cannot play against his parent club.
LCFC: Midfielder Onyinye Ndidi is suspended and both Matty James and Daniel Amartey out injured.
The Foxes have drawn each of their last three PL home games 1-1.
Currently sitting eighth in the table - four points and four places above Newcastle - Leicester have won six, drawn five and lost four times on home soil (that compares to our six wins, four draws and six losses).
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Crystal Palace all took maximum points here, while West Bromwich Albion, Manchester United, Swansea City, Stoke City and Bournemouth left with a share of the spoils.
Referee: Stuart Atwell - four appearance of the season for the Warwickshire whistler, following home wins against Stoke and Palace plus the away loss to Arsenal.
