They've been linked with some quality players. Baffles me as to how a newly promoted club can go after the likes of Yerry Mina and we're struggling to sign the likes of f***ing Rondon.

I wouldn’t want Wolves’ setup at our club, it still feels a bit shady to me and I’m waiting for the whole thing to fall apart. That and it reminds me of a better version of our French Revolution, too many of one nationality can be a bad thing in the dressing room.

I see it more as a better version of what QPR tried and failed to do.TBC wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 4:26 pmI wouldn’t want Wolves’ setup at our club, it still feels a bit shady to me and I’m waiting for the whole thing to fall apart. But it remains to be seen how working so closely with one agent will go in the long term. The fees are low so far, but it's not as if players are going to take paycuts, so money is going somewhere.

Won't get him for anywhere near that price from what I saw.lassassinblanc wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:37 amFulham have bid 26m for Willian Jose looks like they may be growing tired of our stance on Mitro
Our stance on Mitrovic is that the asking price of £20m is more than fair in today's market. Fans can't hammer the club for that.

Stoke have signed Ince so that puts to bed any lingering chances of Ritchie going to Stoke (which I'm happy about tbh, we need him in the team). If we had a 'lazy' RM then we'd get destroyed down the right with Yedlin left to fend for himself.

I don't think any fans should hammer the club for asking for too much anyway. But I agree that 20m is more than reasonable. Though I suppose any interested club would ask why we're asking more for him than the price of who we want to replace him with. But I've said more than my piece about why we shouldn't want to replace Mitro with Rondon already.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:57 amWon't get him for anywhere near that price from what I saw.lassassinblanc wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:37 amFulham have bid 26m for Willian Jose looks like they may be growing tired of our stance on Mitro

I live in the Midlands and it's all very quiet on Rondon now. We must be onto our Z list of targets by now.Eu estou Colo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 2:35 pmI don't think any fans should hammer the club for asking for too much anyway. Hopefully they're better than him. I really hope he wasn't actually our first choice.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 3:33 pmI live in the Midlands and it's all very quiet on Rondon now. We must be onto our Z list of targets by now.Eu estou Colo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 2:35 pm

From the sounds of it he was at best second to Plea. But I don't think anyone really knows. Because of the way we do our business, we seem to rarely get our first choice targets. Joselu was clearly no where near the top of the shortlist.Eu estou Colo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 5:24 pmHopefully they're better than him.
