Didn't expect that, especially with the chance of Bale and ronaldo on the go

PSG might already regret of appointing Tuchel. Since Zidane is free. Maybe the same for Arsenal.

Are you talking about Tuchel over Zidane for PSG or about Newcastle? Because I was talking about Zidane at PSG. Tuchel doesn't have a good experience with dealing with so called "stars" and players with huge egos. Unlike Zidane.

I have a huge doubt that he will cope with Neymar, Mbappe, Silva and whoever they will buy for a hundreds of million pounds this summer.

Pretty sure the last PSG manager came out and pretty much said that Neymar is the one in charge at PSG, not the manager.

Yeah, Zidane is a babysitter, Tuchel is a coach.

I'd argue that Tuchel just doesn't have experience with many star players, more so than he has a track record of bad experience with them. Struck me that his drama was often with the front office, some of which was about selling of the star players. I agree though that Zidane has experience managing some of the biggest stars in the sport, at the highest pressure club in the world, so he would have been a perfect fit if he wanted to go there.

Would be interesting to see where he goes, if he does take another job this season. Might want a bit of a break, I'd be surprised if he needed the money. There's plenty of options out there now. Chelsea and Napoli both avaliable, although likely Sarri will go to Chelsea. He could end up managing another former club if Max Allegri leaves Juventus. Zidane would have a good chance replacing whoever gets his old job. Would like to see what he can do in the prem.

Yeah no way he'll need the money. Think he'll have a bit of a break and back for 2019/20 season.

Probably wanted to leave on a high and not stay long enough for the fans to turn on him and get sacked.

Especially if there's a lot of player turnover there this summer. I know they're on cloud 9 with 3 straight CL trophies, but they haven't been great in the league, and with a bit less luck in the CL I'm sure their patience with him would have run out already.

whoever takes over will have to phase out their ageing superstars and rebuild the team, dont think he was up to the task

Thursday Zidane quits ...

Friday, Leeds sack Heckingbottom with the quip "Our objective is to bring in a head coach with more experience who can help us reach the goals we have talked about since we became custodians of the club last summer. We are confident of making a quick appointment and we thank our fans for their continued support."

Are they thinking ZZ may pull a Rafa and look to take on 'a project' of dragging a once great club from the Championship to the top of the EPL <scratch>

You heard it here first, before The Sunday Sport gets hold of this slow, too hot, Friday exclusive .. <gent>
