glad to see we got goals from open play, Lingard's strike was magnificent. Panama's goal was a a worldie as well so I'm not too fussed about conceding it.

So what do you think? If we beat Belgium 6-1 then its safe to say that we are in with a good shot of winning the world cup?

Literally every sport that uses this technology seems to be more competent. Football is the biggest sport in the world, and claiming the VAR officials "didn't see" the pulls on Kane for example is ridiculous.Japan Papa Goku wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 1:56 pmVAR the VAR?ColbacksFlamingBarnet wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 1:50 pm
Oh wow. VAR needs to be reviewed, this is getting beyond a joke now

It's coming home
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Play like we did in the first 20 against Belgium and we'll get stuffed. Different game once we had a comfortable lead but still sloppy to let them score.

Bugger off with your sense and reasoning! Delusional thinking only

On holiday so been catching the games on french TV, listening to commentary in French which I don't understand is a million times better than listening to the likes of Lawro on BBC.
Columbia looked like pretty tricky tricksters last night. Absolutely pissed all over a poor Poland team.

You know what? I'm pretty impressed with Southgate. Didn't think I was going to be, but I am. If Rafa goes, I don't think hed make a bad replacement.

Managing a national team, and managing a club team are very different positions. Credit to him for picking such a young (and so far exciting) XI and the early performance, but I don't think it's really proven anything about how he would do managing a club where he has to identify and buy players, work within a budget, manage them every day for most of a year. I'm not criticizing him, just think it's a different animal.
