Not bad on a free, I must admit. Happy with that.

Yeah. We also save some money. Wonder if this Suraro thing is still working on... If there's any truth on that.

Think it's a good deal.

Good experience of premier league with Swansea and if i remember correctly had one season with the mackems.
I'll Hazard a guess

Apparently he didn't consider a move to them because they're in League f***ing One.

Another thing about this move, it's the the first time (ifirc) it being reported staying true to what I was told by Newcastle scout earlier this month
I'll Hazard a guess

Cant say I know alot about him as don't really see much of Swansea, can't complain about a free transfer that brings PL experience though, also probably pay for himself in marketing alone.

I think people may overestimate the profits to be made off adding a southeast Asian player to a PL side.

It's official now. Also... there's the new kit... I think.

And 2-year deal is a good move. Not too risky.

Kit looks okay. Plain white and black stripes, but after enough years of odd stripe patterns, I can appreciate another being simple.

Not exactly doing back flips over this signing but he's on a free. Let's see what he can do. Howay Ki 🇰🇷

Very pleased and Jonjo's best mate from the Swansea team so they know each other's game well. Scores with either foot a bonus for a midfielder.

The out of the blue signings are nice, love how this hasn't been reported on at all until an hour or so before it was announced for me that gives me hope that the club are just not giving anything away to the journos rather than this no bids bollocks, chronicle seemed to back track and say still no "cash bids" like they haven't reported on this as a cash bid wasn't involved 😂, think it's clear they know f*** all about our business.

We've been seriously short on CM depth for years now, so it's good to see someone like him come in. Though I'm still sad about the impending departure of Merino. I was seriously concerned about the prospect of only Shelvey, Diame and Hayden as options.

Yeah. I remember the last one. One beautiful summer morning at 2012 I woke up... Opened twitter... And I saw it!
SpoilerShow
Newcastle United bought Romain Amalfitano.
Boom. Out of nowhere. And the rest is history. But I like that one.

A definite 'meh' signing, he's past his best as a player but he's on a free (even though its only a 2 year deal, which doesn't say much).

Lets just hope we can actually improve our squad this time instead of getting players that are no better than what we have.
