Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- SIGNED!!!
Probably getting a little ahead of myself with this one but from media reports looks like Yoshinori Muto might be the next one through the door.
Admittedly I haven't seen much of this lad but the small glimpses of seen he seems like a hard working player something Rafa likes

I quite like the sound of him. Averaged 1 in 3 in Germany, and got quite a lot of assists too. His scoring record for Mainz is actually almost identical to Son's scoring record before he moved to spurs.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Obviously someone failed French in school
actually a fun story about my username.
During my younger football playing days (until injury wrecked my promising career )
Training one evening and we had this new lad from Cameroon who was playing in goal during a 6 aside. I gave the lad a torrid time. I wasn't the quickest of players but I had a nice knack of being in the right place and getting goals think I scored about 15 in a 60 minute game.
After he comes up to me saying he couldn't stop me and anytime I shot I hit the target, you were like hitman an assassin, from then on he called me L'assassin Blanc (The White Assassin)- because I always wore white tape and a had white bandage on my hand after a wrist injury that season.

I'd be pleased if Muto AND Rondon came in. NUFC would have a better chance of finding a double figures striker that way.

SSN now reporting it too.
I see this as competition for Perez at No.10, still a main striker needed.

From everything i've read he's more of a second striker contributing in assists as much as goals (never managed more than 10 goals overseas in a season).
If he is our main (or only) striker signing this summer i'll be disappointed.

I honestly think he could be a Gayle replacement, Gayle and Mitro outgoing should get us about £30m which could pay for Rondon and a no.10. maybe

Muto deal subject to him getting a Work Permit can't see it being much problems with it though been playing in Germany for last 3 years and is a full international for Japan ...Hold off brexit for another week though just in case

Re: Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- (9.5m fee agreed,on a plane)
Not sure what to make of this... first thoughts are that he'll struggle over here. Hope I'm wrong. Also... is this our first ever Japanese player? Ki might be our first Korean player too.
