Perez has been utterly anonymous. I've been saying this for months, but that's why he's not a #10 - he doesn't get on the ball, doesn't affect play or serve as a focal point. He can track back and defend a bit, and sometimes finish, but he's a passenger the rest of the match who does nothing to contribute to attacking team play.

dont think we look too bad, think we are still lacking some sharpness and we are seeing some sloppy play at times, think spurs are a little sharper but i think that could be to do with them having world cup players, i expect some of the early returners to burn out at some point this season though, im surprised so many are back so soon.

And as others have said, credit to Diame for how he played the second half of last season, but he's getting on in years and proved last year how bad he can be, and to not try to improve our starting central and attacking midfield really disappointed me.

Now having complained, I will say that Kenedy and Ritchie have looked good and ambitious, and overall we haven't conceded many chances.

Taken half a game for people to turn on Diame , sure he's not having the best of games but he's also not as bad as is being made out.

Perez has been quiet but he's still causing problems and working well with Joselu in creating space in their back line.

Kenedy has been quality and Ritchie's ball for our goal was fantastic, lots of positives to take into the second half, could nick something late in this one of we can manage to keep them out.
