Rafa just seems rather stubborn. Continuing to try the same things but expecting different results. Perez and Joselu offer so little; neither of them are strong passers of the ball, can't beat a man with the dribble, finishing is inconsistent at best, aren't involved in hold up play. Perez probably puts in above average defensive effort, but it's pretty inexplicable how they automatically play. The same could probably be said of others too, but a couple players don't even have a back-up, so I guess there isn't much choice.

Palace almost scored earlier and I said "oooooo" my wife asked me why I was upset that palace missed.... at least it would have made this game less boring....
