BBC: Have Newcastle's "Ashley generation" had enough?

Post by Valentino's fast feet » Fri Sep 28, 2018 7:09 pm

Coverage of the recent protests and what not. Not a bad little video, Caulkin features prominently as well. Not that I think the fat man will care one sod, but the coverage can't really hurt. There's plenty of pundits, and media-fed people that believe we are just a bunch of deluded geordies who expect CL qualification every year. With any luck this can be a bit of an eye opener.

It really is scary how many pundits genuinely think we expect 4th or the likes. It shouldn’t be the case that such a level of ignorance is able to get a platform at high levels

Do many pundits a actually believe that or is it just clickbait...?

The media in all forms sensationalises absolutely everything.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

I hear it far too frequently for it to be passed off as a dodgy opinion slipping through the net. Perhaps a subsection of the pundits are doing it to bait people into conversation but it’s more prevalent than it should be

That video is spot on. Great to see the mainstream media finally taking notice.
