Alfredo Morelos has come out and pretty much said he'll be leaving Rangers in the summer.

Someone I know we've looked at before. Decent goal scoring record his discipline record not so much.
Signed a new four year contract. It's the hope that kills us, Lassassinblanc.

If Mitrovic was considered a disciplinary concern I can't see how this guy would have been a target <laugh>

Just to put in a higher release fee for him, he gets a % of the fee.

I didn't state we should sign or will sign him just that we had been linked before with him

Morelos is a complete an utter bampot, an off the scale loon ball, undeniably so.
Now there was a previous South American bampot I seem to recall graced the stripes for a while, a player who contributed a certain flair to the Newcastle team back in the day ...............

Now I wouldn't equate the two in equal footballing ability but there is a certain Columbian parallel that maybe shouldn't be written off completely here.

Just sayin like................

Colombians are all mad bastards though I think it's mostly due to Cocaine polluting the water supply for years.

May explain why I seem to know so many Columbians in London.

The water reminds them of home.

With Huddersfield all but relegated, does anyone else think we should look at Philip Billing as a Hayden replacement? Looks to have a lot of potential and is a huge physical presence too

I think Billing is brilliant. I'd definitely have him at Newcastle.

Yeah. I think Mooy is pretty good too.

The quickest comparison between the two on WyScout. Don't have time to go overboard.

Hayden averages 42.98 passes/90 mins with a success rate of 84.6%. Also averages 5.84 interceptions per 90.
Billing averages 45.98 passes/90 mins with a success rate of 83.4%. Also averages 6.9 interceptions per 90.

Not in the squad to provide goals or tonnes of assist, hence the minimal comparison.

Yeah he's not there for goals and assists but he does have a rocket of shot on him.

Is also home grown and doubt he'd cost much more then say 10-12m

Yeah definitely. Slightly younger than Hayden and with more potential. A big unit, kind of reminds me of Fellani lite in the sense of his physicality, aerial pretense and playing style when I've seen him play, also can pick out a pass, has a good long range shot on him and can move around well for a ''big-man''. Aaron Mooy is a different type of midfielder but would be a good shout too as he can the play the box-to-box role, has a good eye for a goal and can do the play-making too. Would anyone take Steve Mounie as a Joselu replacement? Hasn't been as good this season as last but still can't be any worse than Joselu. He's 6ft 3, mobile and strong. Alex Pritchard is another I'll take, quality little technical player with speed, vision and creativity who can play on the wing and attacking mid plus he's at a good age at 25 and home-grown.

To be honest I'd take the bloody llama as a replacement for Joselu!

Billing just posted a message of him being racially abused by a Huddersfield fan.

I'd imagine not, but I'd also imagine we had the option to terminate the loans if they weren't getting the game time we expected

Huddersfield are one of the worst sides in PL history yet everyone seems keen to take their players <scratch>

You'd rather us sign first team players for Real or City? We are at a certain level, and just because they got relegated doesn't mean the individual players are bad. Liverpool signed Wijnaldum, Spurs signed Sissoko. Both appear a fair bit for respective clubs.
