Don’t think you can describe him as s*** but I do not think he is what we need now.

We need someone who can recruit well with limited funds - we are Liverpool or Real Madrid. His use of the money has been poor and decisions in letting certain people go poor.

Ashley is also to blame for not investing in a good scouting network plus being too hasty getting rid of Pardew and Hughton

I think anything he has done in the past is completely irrelevant when we're discussing how good he is as a manager. I think based on his time here, he's s***.

However, I agree he's not what we need now as well. He can't work with Ashley and unless anyone has a spare £300m he isn't going anywhere. So Rafa needs to go. Soon.

I'd be tempted to have him at least on the bench at the weekend. I'm all for protecting young players' development but he's banging them in for fun and we can't buy a goal.

Still madness. We've got limited attacking choices as it is on the bench so not taking one of them to instead give some lad a day out is madness. What if someone gets injured or we need to do something to change the game? Now isn't the time to be pissing about, we need to start winning some (a lot of) games before we get that luxury.

He should only be in the squad of we would be comfortable giving him game time. At this stage that would be disastrous for him. He's had about 5 good games for a non-competitive team in a non-competitive league and thats it.

If we think he's showing promise get him out on loan to a league 1 or 2 side in January and see what he can do in a competitive environment. Then reasses the situation in the summer.

No more mad than brining Joselu off the bench.
