Credit to the group, they are if nothing else quite convincing at making it sound like they’re a significant group.
They are a significant group. Agree or disagree with some of what they do, they are the only supporters group of note.

There shouldn't be a need for TMG the NUST should be doing what they're doing but as a supporters trust they're very poor.

The main problem with our fan base is the amount of egotistical individuals and a lack of a proper representative supporters trust.

Early on TMG looked like they might be the answer, they consist of member of the NUST, True Faith, Wor Flags and a few others. Those running it kept their heads down for a while and everything was done under the group banner. Then that Wallace bloke or whatever he's called decided to make it all about getting himself TV and radio gigs and started abusing fans in twitter who didn't want to boycott.

For me they lost credibility when the leader of the group started personally attacking Lee Marshall on twitter for deciding to go on holiday with his family during his week off rather than cancelling his plans to entertain the group.

With a change of leadership and more engagement with the wider fan base before making decisions the group can regain some credibility. Hopefully that happens or the NUST get their act together as there are no other significant supporters groups.

The whole thing seems to have been a bit of a disaster if you ask me (protest plans). They were relying solely on us continuing to lose week in week out to get some support, that didn’t happen (luckily). Then there was the laughable leaflet campaign and rather pointless ‘walk in’ before a boycott that was never going to happen even before they cancelled it.

The only way to make him go is to hit him in the pocket. Boycott his shops not the club. Good luck this afternoon.
