Southgate has been better for this than any of his recent predecessors. I was disappointed that Lascelles didn't get a look in for the world cup but when you see the performances Maguire put it you can't really complain.

Yeah he definitely has been an improvement on that respect with Brighton, Burnley players etc getting callups.
