No great surprise, Fulham have blinked first...

I mean hiring Ranieri is a bit of a surprise! Will be interesting to see what he can do... also if Fulham go down they’re surely going to be in serious financial trouble

I was hoping they'd go for Pardew. Bit surprised they didn't go with Allerdyce.

Can see Southampton taking Allerdyce when Fulham beat them in there next game. Which will make things tough down at the bottom.

Cardiff and Huddersfield have no hope. Fulham and Soithampton seemed like they'd battle it out for the last relegation spot. You'd expect Fulham to be ok now so if Southampton don't sack Hughes then they are down. Need to learn from the mistake Stoke made and do it now before it is too late.

Well he's got plenty of time to turn things around I suppose...

Should be interesting to see how Mitro does. Jokanovic seemed to have calm most of the time and was playing well earlier in the season.

Not sure Ranieri's style will suit him.

And a rich owner who's a bit of a nutcase. He will be willing to continue throwing money at the club.

Yeah, Fulham would get decent money for Sessegnon, Mitro, Cairney, Ceri and one or two others should they get relegated so they'll be absolutely fine. Bit of a shame for us though as they were doomed under Jokanovic but will now be a bit of an unknown quantity depending on what Ranieri can do. You'd fancy them to beat Southampton next week.

Anyone paid much attention to Fulham, how has Sessegnon been, lots of hype over him but don't think I've heard him mentioned this season.

I haven't really seen anything of them, but he's playing predominantly at left back isn't he? He really exploded last season when he moved further up the pitch. Matty Targett on loan let him push up. They signed loads in the summer but mostly top heavy.

Seconded. I watched a lot of them early this season, and last season, and his role has been a lot more conservative this season than last. I truly think he has the attacking skill to be a top-end player, but as a responsible LB he doesn't stand out the same (and probably shouldn't). Would be interesting to see how he can perform in the PL if unshackled from their terrible defending and playing as a winger instead.

Didn't he score in the game before they played Liverpool?

He seems to have been moved around a lot in the odd games I've seen him, not really a good way to manage a young player. Ranieri might do him some good.

So essentially he should go to Germany.

They signed a LB in the summer; Joe Bryan from Bristol City (he was good for them last year, walked all over Man U in the Cacapo Cup semi final). I assume the idea was for Bryan to be their 1st choice LB so they could push Sess forward, but then Bryan had a s*** start to the season and then got injured and i guess they dont have any better options than Sess
