13th on the table at almost a point/game
Re: Match day thread - Burnley v NUFC
Good defensive display, although did get lucky a few times with Burnley not being as clinical as they should have been. Diame motm for me, constant pressure from him. Kenedy had one of his better games, gave Ki a good outlet.

100% November record. Manager of the Month for Rafa?

Its not even enjoyable when you win like that. Those players were f***ing s**** tonight to a man. I can’t praise a single one of them as having had a good game which says a lot. We held on though which is something, even if they had a free header 3 yards out as the last touch of the game

First away win of the season. Big win and sets up nicely for the West Ham game at home. Rode our luck and grinded out the win. Could have been 4-1 easily if we took our chances, thank god we won because if it ended a draw Ritchie would have nightmares for weeks about that miss truly a woeful miss he could have literally tapped in definitely the worst miss of the season so far. A lot of good performances especially from the likes of Diame who was rock solid, Ki with his composure Yedelin and Ritchie worked there socks off up and down the pitch both did well in there respective wing-back positions suits them both gives them time and space on the ball. The back three were also immense

Fernandez, Ritchie (that chance aside...), Ki all immense tonight. Feel like Kenedy is going to bang one in from 30 yards any day now...
What a bloody win

Diame was brilliant today. Rondon was quiet but held the ball up well.

Re: Match day thread - Burnley v NUFC
I thought Ki and Diame were brilliant for different reasons tonight.
Diame was all over the place, you can see how he has the most tackles this season.
For me Ki was MOTM though. So calm on the ball, always played the right ball. Always available. When we were controlling the game he was the one doing it. Special mentions must obviously go to Schar and Fernandez who pretty much defended the long ball the whole game.
Overall loving the result and at times I thought we played really well! Should have won by more but 3 points and keep the momentum going!

I honestly thought Ritchie was really poor tonight. Works like a horse but his end product is woeful.

Genuine question - when was the last time a team had a player sent off against us? I legitimately can't remember.

As you know am highly critical of Rafa. Still don't like or agree with the ultra-defensive philosophy but will concede that the 3-4-3 line-up worked tonight. The use of wing-backs seemed to create more chances for us and Yedlin in particular was much better in that role. If Rafa decides to continue with the defensive style I hope he at least uses this formation more.
Still want him gone though.

Benitez signings were all the big performers today. Can anyone still criticize him on that front?
