An early goal would certainly calm the nerves but what would we do then, defend a one goal lead for the rest of the game or try to kill the game by scoring more goals?

I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Could be a flat back four with Schaer in the holding role of a midfield 3? I was surprised Lascelles was fit to start, he looked a broken man the other day. Disappointed but not surprised Murphy lost his place.

Really? I thought he was extremely poor against Blackburn.

Like Atsu is any better Murphy at least you can argue is still developing. I thought he was active and made some good contributions, albeit nothing concrete.

The link to our game on Firstrow is showing the manure game!
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Cardiff
Yes more often than not Murphy's end product wasn't useful BUT he put himself in positions to offer something and put pressure on his defender, which could be usefu off the bench.

Woah! Perez header on target from a corner takes a cat-like save from the Cardiff GK
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Cardiff
Hayden, defensively, has been excellent so far.
