Think this could be a good game. 2-1 win.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Southampton
With the recent win from Cardiff it might be a bit of a nervy game.
I'm quietly confident though. Hope Miggy gets off the mark. HWTL.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Southampton
Hopefully Southampton chasing survival can play in our favour, as it's the teams that come just to sit back which stifle us.
Also worth pointing out that we could be mathematically safe this weekend should we win and Cardiff lose to Liverpool
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Southampton
I'd rather us and Cardiff both win tbh

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Southampton
Got a decent new Almiron chant (dunno if this is the right place to post this) to the tune of Robbie Williams ‘she’s the one’
“When we buy, we buy cheap,
But you’re twenty mill, our record fee,
So if there’s somebody, I’m cheering in on..
ALMIRON!
Thoughts? Some potential to work the other verses too.
Newcastle to win 3-0 today I reckon

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Southampton
Man City are just one of a number of teams injecting money to buy success.
Liverpool fans and the media will be unbearable for decades if they win the league.
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Southampton
Who knows, maybe they're so insufferable because they've never won the Premier League and by finally winning it they might pack it in?
Don't get why City were being marvelled for potentially winning quadruple despite grossly outspending any competition for the past decade.

For who
I think Southampton will try and do a palace and hit us on the break. It’s winnable but I won’t be too unhappy with a draw.
