Can't see a deal for J Lukaku happening again, not after it falling at the final hurdle. His replacement hardly kicked a ball. We definitely need to stregthen in that position, but feel we should definitely look elsewhere. As for Lascelles, he had a bit of a difficult time last year, not to his usual standard. I wonder if it's adjusting to a 3/5 at the back, and would rather play in a solid back four. As for Lazio, West Ham and whoever else sniffing about, they can get f***ed.

We've apparently had scouts watching him a few times through the season. Along with half the premier league. There will be better clubs looking at him, but not necessarily as a first choice/starting player. Would potentially be a key player for us, which could be an advantage in any negotiations, depending on the player's own motivations. Any move would likely depend on how the takeover goes though, but he could certainly be a good statement signing to usher in the new era.

He could stay with us for a year, move to Liverpool and then win the Champions League

West Ham and Newcastle are interested in signing Real Salt Lake winger Jefferson Savarino, Sky Sports News understands.

Both clubs are due to watch the Venezuelan winger play in the Copa America on Wednesday against hosts Brazil.

The 22-year-old playmaker has scored three times so far in this season's Major League Soccer and is apparently available for £6m.

For 6 million we could do much worse. Seems like a decent player with potential and he's under 26 so could be our type of signing. Hopefully he isn't the only Venezuelan joining us this summer.

Him, Rondon, Herrera and Murrilo would all be fantastic signings from la Vinotinto.

Are we ever linked to anyone that West Ham aren't also supposedly interested in? And vice versa

Reports in Italy linking us to Diego Laxalt again. Hasn't really worked out for him at Milan, but he'd be an interesting option for that LWB slot. Supposed asking price is around 11-12m.
