Just let Jones take over interim if they don't have a long term manager lined up in time. No need to have Bruce watching from the sidelines.

Well that's another 2 weeks added onto the wait for a new manager now that Nuno is available. <whistle>

Nuno to Spurs was a bad move from day one for all concerned.

He can take us out of the Championship next season <diva>

That's assuming if he's hired by that time.

He had a couple of good years in Wolves with a squadron of his countrymen from Brazil and Portugal, and he made an impact.
We have Joe and a squad of championship players. And they smell.

Yeah it would be a very different situation.

He had Neves and Moutinho who were more than comfortable in possession and able to control the midfield; we have players who are scared of the ball and can't pass.

He had solid fullbacks in Doherty and Jonny who could defend, track and create. We have an aging winger who can't really defend, a young LB who's forgotten what a football pitch looks like and a hard working but limited Manquillo.

He had leadership throughout the team from the keeper' up to Jiminez.

Makes you realise (as if we didn't know) how s*** we are <laugh>

Maybe Lewis smells which is why he's never picked?

Villa have had a pretty poor start to the season really, but I'd be surprised if Smith was sacked so soon.
