Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
This could be the season when every team sacks their manager what are the betting odds on that happening? Sam Allardyce is sat by his phone just waiting for Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcalona to ring him he has been desperate to return as he has not been offered any brown bags of cash since he Got and Lost his dream job after 67 days and one game as Englands most sucsessfull manager with a 100% win record.

Duncan Ferguson has a 100% win record as a PL manager, Arsenal should give him a go
I'd actually love to see Ferguson tear the likes of Ozil to shreds!

Ancelotti been sacked. I wonder if he will turn up at Everton/Arsenal? West Ham may have a sniff if they sack Pellegrini. Ambitious, but you never know. Napoli were on a bad run of form until winning tonight, though. Still a great, well decorated manager.

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
It's funny clubs are all so willing to sign these long contract extensions with managers, even though they never keep them until the end. I know it's a part of negotiation, but it'd be in their best financial interests to all keep them shorter.

Ancelotti has denied rumours he will become manager of Everton and opted to become an MP.

SSN reporting Ancelotti has been on Merseyside today and had agreed a deal in principle. BBC reporting that he is their top target but no approach has been made.

Arteta to Arsenal confirmed. Interesting appointment, hope he gets the time to build his own ship. Doesn't look too chuffed, though.

Seems like he has everything to lose taking that job. A club massively on the decline, squad needs an overhaul, high earners who don’t give a s***, fans who think arsenal should be up there with the best etc.

I agree. It's a bizarre decision from all involved. For the reasons you listed Arteta would have been better off staying at Man City and continuing his development in coaching.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 7:21 pmSeems like he has everything to lose taking that job. It's even stranger from Arsenals point of view though. He has no managment experience and Arsenal have big issues that need sorting. Surely a more proven manager (especially one who would sort the defence out such as Rafa) would have been better in this instance.
I don't by the he'll get a reaction from the players as he's a club legend approach either. In Ljungberg they had an actual club legend in charge for a few games and the players couldn't be arsed to put in a bot of effort for him so I can't see that changing for Arteta.

Now we're just a s*** squad with a s*** owner and fans don't care.

Ancelotti says he's targeting Champions League qualification with Everton.

Benitez wouldn't last 5 minutes at Arsenal.TJR wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 8:47 pmI agree. It's a bizarre decision from all involved. Arsenal are a club brimming with arrogance from the players to the fans

I can see it going very badly for Arsenal, but like with Ole at Man U it’ll be funny to watch
