No outrage about Nuno not being given a chance, strange...maybe he wasn't a good family man.

Conte confirmed to Spurs. Did that quick.
Easy choice for both Levy and Conte…. especially “the promise” of £150m to spunk in January

He wouldn't take the job in the summer while the window is open, but joins them now when 5-0-5 with a few months to wait for Levy to maybe sign off on new players? I give it max 1.5 years before he quits in a huff.

I’ll no raise you , tantrums hurled early in next window, some petty turbulence, then it’ll be end of this season latest.
Levy is a really devious bean counter.

Maybe a few more million on this pay packet did the trick.

Nuno is yet another top flight manager living the dream, was at Spurs for 4 months and walks away with millions. It is an absolute dream!

Completely agree and wouldn't be surprised if it happened a lot earlier.

Levy is a great commercial mind, has done well to elevate their brand and infrastructure. But his ego really does seem to get too involved in footballing decisions. That said, was watching an ESPN segment yesterday and the point was well made that Joe Lewis really gets to skate by there despite being the majority owner. He never gets talked about when things get messy there.

so dumb Nuno had years of buying players to fit his system he was employed for. why couldnt they see that and give him the same treatment?

Must have been decided before the Brentford game?

Must have someone lined up surely? It's obviously not a reaction to the result, and as said - clearly decision must've been made before the win. Which is odd since a game against another promoted side is far more likely to get a positive result, than say Chelsea or Liverpool.

Still, it is normal to think the worst. This is the side effect of Ashley still haunting some supporters. <laugh>
