Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
The problem Rooney has is that Troy Deeney just did the "s*** at management so take over Garth Crooks' team of the week" trick, so that's not going to be available for a while.

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
He got to hide behind the points deduction, but i think had he stayed on he'd have been found out. Not that he necessarily was self-aware to realize that, and probably just thought he was too good at the time to managing in League One.Colback's Orange Tufts wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 7:21 amHe was quite good at Derby iirc. Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
Point deductions have a weird way of galvanising the squad too making the manager seem better than they are.
I remember Wise at Leeds looked great when they got their points deduction.

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread
I see Rafa is the guest on overlap this week would imagine majority of the interview is just Jamie Carragher lapping him for Istanbul and Liverpool time but I wonder if there is any Newcastle talk within it
I'll Hazard a guess

I think we'll get a bit, though you'd expect Liverpool to heavily be the focus.lassassinblanc wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 2:27 pmI see Rafa is the guest on overlap this week would imagine majority of the interview is just Jamie Carragher lapping him for Istanbul and Liverpool time but I wonder if there is any Newcastle talk within it
