I could maybe see us getting one of those up and coming managers who are maybe a move or two away from a top club. Who wouldn't have risked us as a stepping stone before - in fear it'd have derailed their career momentum.
Steven Gerrard fav at the bookies atm wouldn't mind him but think we'll go for someone with more experience someone like Conte

It'd be pretty cold this winter for his customary slacks and tight fitting black t-shirt.

I still remember being at the home match against Chelsea winter of 2010-11 right after a crazy snow storm, and a snow drift fell off the stand roof and almost landed on Ancelotti's head as he roamed the touchline. We need a nimble manager who's accustomed to cold winters and looks good in a high collared peacoat. These are my priorities! <coat>

It would be unwise to bring in a top manager immediately. Bring in a mid-level manager who will take the flack for the ultimately underwhelming first few seasons the club will have.
Eddie Howe then.
I'd be quite content with that. Fully agree with the above sentiment that we need a mid level manager. Other names that I haven't seen linked that I would consider would be Lucian Favre and AVB. Any managerial target I'm suggesting under the idea of a sporting director and transfer committee style arrangement going forward.

Someone sensible with 1 or 2 good players and the team will do better.

When ASM and CW are both fit we do better so imagine what another 1 or 2 wild do for now

A central defender and a central midfielder would do wonders.

There is no way Bruce is still here when we play Spurs. He’s effectively the face and a product of the old regime and the new owners will now fans feeling towards him. The last thing they’ll want is him leading the team v Spurs.

Steve Bruce will leave the training ground with an empty cardboard box because he brought nothing to the club anyway.

I doubt sentimentality will enter into the decision if they do let him stay for that game. Personally I would hope that if they have a replacement lined up they bring him in asap, within the next few days. Would give him a week to get to grips with the squad before the game. And as we have few international players that should give him pretty much a full squad to work with.

Agreed. If he's still here then it's only because they haven't gotten their preferred option in yet, and/or they don't see a reasonable interim option among the existing staff. I'd be pretty shocked if anyone among the coaching staff survives the eventual cull.
