Saw some of our fans moaning about how they wish managers could come into Newcastle and talk as confidently as Carlo has about Everton. And sure, I do wish we could attract the best managers, but Everton has been all talk and money and no results before and since their new ownership, so I really don't see the sense in being jealous of them right now.

It's crazy how little vision that club has. It really highlights how you need the right manager aligned with a consistent playing style and transfer strategy, otherwise you just keep spending money and hiring new managers, with the squad never really taking shape or making sense.

Gerrard doing a great job at Rangers, they just beat Celtic 2-1 (Morelos sent off again <laugh> ), would love to see them win the league again. Especially as Lennon and Scott Brown are both colossal pricks.

Apparently he was amongst the long list of candidates that rejected us before Bruce. I don't see Gerrard taking a prem job until the Liverpool one opens up.

He shouldn't take it, set up for failure, expectations will be massive because not only will he be following Klopp but also people have a weird idea that legends of the club will always make good managers of the club.

Hope he keeps his head screwed on, takes Rangers as far as he can and tries to build up a Championship club or lower PL club

Agree that replacing Klopp at Liverpool would be a bad move (whenever that happens). Definitely too high profile to manage in the Championship now though, especially with getting Rangers performing in Europe now too.

Not sure it matters who Liverpool manager is. They've bought the league anyway.

Their net spend isn’t ridiculous seen as they got big money for Coutinho, and stupid money for the likes of Ibe and Solanke.
