Not sure it matters who Liverpool manager is. They've bought the league anyway.
Their net spend isn’t ridiculous seen as they got big money for Coutinho, and stupid money for the likes of Ibe and Solanke.
Who said anything about players?

Brought in to keep them up, which he probably will. Arsenal fan on 606 the other night wanted Allardyce at Arsenal

That the one who said they'd be bottom 3 without Auba? He's probably not far wrong...

1 win in 8 games, that’s good by his standards.

He's massively gone down hill the last few years. He was quite well known for the Pardew slide, for years before us, where he'd start really well then just drop off a cliff. Because he doesn't really know what he's doing. At den Haag and before that at West Brom, they didn't have the first part.

Shocking that, saved them from relegation then they sack him.

Didn't even get his £100k bonus for saving them

Adieu Alan, Vaarwel,
So endeth your Dutch spell,
One win in the last eight,
Just isn't that great,
Hardly the work of a Dutch Master,
More a hole in the dyke disaster,
But cry not, don't weep for this silver fox,
Another opportunity will surely knock,
Imagine that somewhere near to the Toon,
A post might become vacant quite soon,
And result in Alan, King of the Stadium of Light,
That sounds very fitting and oh so right.

Woodgate sacked by Middlesbrough and replaced by Warnock.

Had to be done really. Warnock will probably get them promoted next season

Missed out on the play-offs by a point last season, how's he managed to get them dangling over the drop by goal difference?

For Jonathan Woodgate a little epilogue,
Now that he is leaving the Smog,
Time to reflect and take stock,
Leave the Riverside to Neil Warnock,
The Boro have been on a steady decline,
This season they've only won nine,
Up the Swanny after the latest defeat,
The mood there has become very downbeat,
Just outside the relegation zone,
Time to pick up the panic phone,
To replace the management newcomer,
Call in the emergency plummer,
Hope he plugs all the holes,
Stop them leaking so many goals,
And close the relegation sluice-gate,
Before it is, too late.
