If the rumours are true that he refused to take training this morning over the super league proposals then fair play to him.

Klopp, Solkjear etc need to follow suit if they even a shred of integrity. Players of those clubs need to start speaking out against it as well.

Alas Jose has departed the Lane,
Rumours were, he refused to train,
And take the team on a morning jog,
Which has led to this epilogue,

He will be missed for his amusement quality,
That often strayed into frivolity,
But there is no need to be sad,
He'll pop up in a Paddy Power ad,

Spurs wasn't easy for the Special One,
When your not the fan's favourite Son,
And it will come as no great surprise,
Should he quickly, elsewhere, arise.

Tim Sherwood and Eddie Howe on the matchday coverage today, and Sherwood is encouraging Howe as new Tottenham manager. Shush! I still hold out hope for him landing our manager job. Or at least would want him available should the position open (as I expect it to).

Not manager but I see Nicky Butt has left Manchester utd as Head of youth development, Joe Joyce left the same role last week wonder if Butt might be interested in joining the club. I know he was well thought of by the club whilst here

Don't think anyone at our club knows/cares what that is.

Jose on his way to Roma now
Not even time for a Spurs exit row
While the Special ones never been a soft touch
A three year contract does seem a tad too much

Weren't we the first PL club to sign a deal with Castore? Or hasn't that been made official in the same way Wolves has been now?

Well we'll both have them for next season, but we haven't made that official yet. You'd assume since Wolves announced it today we won't be far off (probably after Fulham game).

I live in Wolverhampton and this has come completely out of the blue. Obviously they’ve not had a good season compared to previous and lost some key players but wasn’t any real murmurs of him leaving.

Would be a good appointment for Spurs, or if I were the arsenal owner I’d sack arteta and get nuno - massive upgrade.

Clearly he should want the challenge of managing us. It'll remind him of the turmoil and drama of Valencia (can't believe I subject myself to supporting both...).

Conte has walked out of Inter. Supposedly a disagreement with the board about budget allocation. Inter's overlords wanted to reduce the wage bill and raise a lot of money in sales before making transfer funds avaliable, apparently.

Fair enough, he won the league and would hope to be backed but their owners don't seem to be the greatest.

Looks more like not being able to back him, the owners are in serious financial trouble.
Their team in China folded 3 months after winning their first title in Feb and there's been talk for a while about Inters top players being sold.

Inter Milans' majority owners are very cash strapped and looking to offload the club. Any revenue generated this season is gone and spent already so they have nothing left in the coffers to fund a transfer window at all. There is a thought that any sales made would be swallowed up just to keep the club running.
