If I had to take a punt, I would anticipate they've been in talks, the Sun have gotten wind of it and printed that story and exaggerated it in true Sun fashion, which has left every other journalist scrabbling around for information. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi press are probably just regurgitating the Sun's story, which then looks like it's nearly done.
