Plus no other PL is likely to ever give him a job so it’s probably going to be his last chance...
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

I mean, we can't finish any deal, so I don't trust them to successfully finalize this one either. It might actually be in our favour that they're so inept.

Crouch has just retired, might as well give him a go.

Sign him up to a long term deal, we'll need route 1 options for the Championship and League 1Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 1:59 pmCrouch has just retired, might as well give him a go.

Scuttlebut reckons transfer on hold; they can't agree on compensation and Bruce wary of coming as he knows he'll get dogs abuse.

Sky Sports
Can we just f*** him off and get Flores now please.“Newcastle’s move for Steve Bruce has hit a snag, as Sheffield Wednesday hold out for a fee far greater than Newcastle originally expected. The Owls are holding out for significantly more for him & his assistants
“That doesn’t mean it’s off. Still likely to happen, but explains the hold-up.”

Getting rid of Rafa and paying up to £5m for Bruce and his merry band of men is like dumping Katherine Jenkins to bang Big Mo from Eastenders.

Wow. 5mil for Bruce.. not even Palace paid that much for Pardew but even then Pardew has Europa League and taking us to the top 5 on his CV something Bruce will has and will never do.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 9:36 pmGetting rid of Rafa and paying up to £5m for Bruce and his merry band of men is like dumping Katherine Jenkins to bang Big Mo from Eastenders.
Quique Flores is free and better than Bruce but we decide to go for the ''old gang safe and trusted'' route of bringing a old dinosaur
I guess this means if Bruce comes.. Lazaar will be our new left-back and Aarons new left-winger?

Re: The next manager?
Is Flores any good or does he just look better stacked up to Bruce?
I vaguely remember him doing alright at Watford and seemingly unfairly getting the boot. Seems to be one of the better, realistic, options out there. Not one that there's a lot of press speculation about though. Maybe as it's sensible.

Re: The next manager?
I remember him having a really decent season at Watford, but their model was to give the manager the boot every year.CIH wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 11:06 pmIs Flores any good or does he just look better stacked up to Bruce?

Despise the smug little bastard, but right now that's not looking like the worst thing in the world. Not far off mind. The t***.

Re: The next manager?
I’d probably say that’s about as bad as it could get given his awful performances at Palace (who he was taking down but they sacked him on time) and WBA (who got relegated because they didn’t sack him soon enough). Would honestly rather take Bruce over Pardew.

Re: The next manager?
I get the feeling managers and other clubs are becoming super cautious of Ashley, I think we genuinely are struggling to get decent interest in the position and that's why it's come down to Bruce, then Wednesday have thrown Ashley's kryptonite into the mix by asking for an excessive release fee, hopefully he realises he's not going to get away with much anymore and running a football club becomes more hassle than he's bothered to put up with and sells.
