Yeah I’ll be quite happy with our window as things stands. Another striker would have been good but we’ve got more than I thought we would (and kept key players and those who looked dead set to go (Hayden and Ritchie)).

God knows why but i'm pretty confident we won't sell any of our best players at most i can see Gayle going but not the likes of Schar, Lascelles, Dubravka, Longstaff etc.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:44 pmAnyone else paranoid about someone like Leicester it Everton coming in for Schar and/or Lascelles on deadline day...?

Agreed. Premier League teams can survive with as few as 2 strikers these days. If Gayle was sold, we'd be down to Muto and Joelinton. I doubt fatty and the mole would shed a tear - they'd probably see if Aaron Wilbraham or Akinfenwa would be available on a pay as you play deal.Tsi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:52 pmGod knows why but i'm pretty confident we won't sell any of our best players at most i can see Gayle going but not the likes of Schar, Lascelles, Dubravka, Longstaff etc.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:44 pmAnyone else paranoid about someone like Leicester it Everton coming in for Schar and/or Lascelles on deadline day...?

I always felt they didn't get enough out of him. I'm sure that's partly on him, but nearly every player has seemingly underperformed there the past few years, and I think that reflects worse on the coaches/club. I suspect with the change of scenery he'll be back to banging them in.The Deluded Pablo Diego Jose Francisco wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 5:20 pmLukaku off to Inter for £65mil plus £12mil add ons.

Agreed. I also think Lascelles has lost a lot of the shine he had before last season. There's always a newer more exciting English prospect clubs move onto.Tsi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:52 pmGod knows why but i'm pretty confident we won't sell any of our best players at most i can see Gayle going but not the likes of Schar, Lascelles, Dubravka, Longstaff etc.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:44 pmAnyone else paranoid about someone like Leicester it Everton coming in for Schar and/or Lascelles on deadline day...?

Definitely that his stock fell a bit last season, and had he had two seasons being as good as he was in 2017/18 then someone would definitely have come in for him (someone bigger and better than West Ham).Remember Colo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 5:48 pmAgreed. He’ll be a good fit there with all the other divers and play actors.

Re: Other Clubs Transfer Deals (Summer 2019)
seems to be lots of transfer activity bubbling away, could see a lot of moves tomorrow. Luiz wants to go to Arsenal, Zaha has handed in a transfer request, Spurs after Dybala, Lukaku to Inter, Everton might go back in for Doucoure and Smalling and various other things.

Not going to happen unfortunately they wanted my image rights!!!
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Juve have pulled out of the Dybala to Spurs deal apparently.

I heard they were under some pressure to sell after making some big transfers, but maybe the money they got for Concelo from Man C is sufficient.

Half of that fee would've gone on his replacement with Danilo.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 12:53 pmI heard they were under some pressure to sell after making some big transfers, but maybe the money they got for Concelo from Man C is sufficient.

Wanyama been offered out to teams by Spurs for a loan deal - would be a decent signing

That's a good move. I would've took him at that price for sure. Injury record not the best but he will replace Gayle's goals for them.

Re: Other Clubs Transfer Deals (Summer 2019)
I know he was rubbish last season but a lower end Championship loan surprises me. He's had a decent pre-season too. Maybe there were no other takers.
