Team for Arsenal

With the window now closed, and the squad we've assembled, what do people think our starting eleven will be on Sunday? I'm not clued up on who's fit or not but I can see us going with 3 at the back for this one.

Think it'd maybe be a bit too soon for Krafth, and ASM will be a good option off the bench imo.

I'd like to see this formation but it'll be Shelvey in the middle with ASM probably on the bench. I've put Manquillo in as he's had more game time during the pre season than Yedlin plus Farth af Amiens only just arrived today. Dummett at CB gives us a better balance there plus i think he's a much better option than Clarke. Willems at LWB due to Ritchies injury.

I like TSI's formation though the 3-4-3/5-2-3 type formation with ASM and Miggy supporting Joelinton.

I've been saying for years Dummett will be better as a CB (its my Santon for CM). However, I think vs Arsenal he'll play wing back due to Williems not being ready

Nice to have the problem as to who to leave out, rather than who we’ve got to put in. A bit of strength on the bench as well.

Can't decide, I'd be tempted to go three in midfield given Arsenals attacking half. I'd maybe drop Ki for him, swap Willems for Fernandes and shuffle Dummett out wide to keep some stability.
Honestly given it's first game of the season under a new manager I'm willing to give anything a chance as long as it isn't Shelvey in a two man midfield...

Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac won't be taking part in this weekend's opening Premier League game against Newcastle.
A statement from Arsenal said: 'Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac will not be part of the squad for our opening match against Newcastle United following further security incidents which are being investigated by the police.'
In July, the pair were confronted by two armed attackers on a moped near Sead Kolasinac's home in Childs Hill, but the Bosnian defender was able to fight them off before fleeing.
