Started okay I thought and made a couple of half chances, but as the half went on gave them too much of the ball (fortunately they’ve been well off the pace too so far). Typical first game of the season. Quite a few players with hardly any match sharpness.

This. The potential between miggy and joe is there for all too see, when they fully gel and click they'll be a great front 2 and maybe great front 3 when maximin gets up to speed or we warna change it to a 343. Unlucky we didn't score when Shelvey hit the post.

Not seen any glaring issues, a lot of match sharpness to be desired but as mentioned it's to be expected first game of the season, Joelinton has shown signs of his quality but has looked a little lost at times but again that's something that's going to work itself out when he picks up English/Settles in, Almirons "dive" was a harsh yellow imo, will see players going down off those light touches all season and you won't see cards for them (penalty's if it's Salah)
